Overview

Our annual Spring Legislative Conference focuses on the Association's highest-priority legislative and regulatory efforts, and is designed for transit agencies of all sizes and transit industry professionals of all levels and backgrounds. The most recent event took place on May 21, 2024, at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel in Sacramento.

We look forward to once again gathering and advocating for our transit industry in 2025. Please stay tuned for more details to come.

Programmatic Highlights

The 2024 event program featured conversations with California's top transportation leaders, thinkers and doers, all exploring what’s next for the future of our industry. During the day's programs, attendees met with key deciscion markers, heard from industry experts, and networked with fellow transit advocates. 

Among discussions was an update on California’s Transformation Task Force, state and federal funding, and Association-sponsored legislation. Other topics included:

  • Campaign Update: What the Taxpayer Deception Act Means for Public Transit
  • Delivering on Transit Transformation: State and Regional Perspectives
