The Association welcomes members and partners to join us for our 2026 Spring Legislative Conference, May 21, 2026 in Sacramento. The full day event features meaningful discussions on the most pressing issues facing the transit industry. This year's keynote address will be provided by California Air Resources Board Chair, Lauren Sanchez. We look forward to welcoming participants for a full day of collaboration and idea sharing.

Delegation Visits
The Association encourages members arriving in Sacramento on Wednesday, May 20th to schedule meetings with your state delegation representatives before that evening's legislative reception.
Being in Sacramento offers members a tremendous opportunity to meet in person with your legislative delegation and highlight both your local projects and the Association's legislative and budget priorities.
Transit agency staff who wish to organize legislative visits for Wednesday, May 20 should contact legislative offices as soon as possible. This can be done by phone to request the scheduling form or scheduler's email address; some legislators' websites also have online scheduling forms and additional information about how to request meetings. When scheduling meetings, attendees should provide the date (May 20) and preferred time window for the requested 15-to-30-minute meeting, along with the names, titles, and organizations of one to four participants, as office spaces are small and can only accommodate individuals or small groups.

Lodging
The California Transit Association reserved a small block of rooms for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel at a discounted rate of $297 per night, plus tax, and a $5 resort fee. You may reserve a room via this link through April 20. Reservations made after April 20 will not receive the discounted rate.
