The Successful Annual Terminal Inspection

The annual CHP Terminal inspection touches the heart of every California transit agency. To the new transit maintenance professional, the process can be challenging and stressful. To the experienced maintenance manager, the annual exercise validates the agency’s dedication to safety, compliance with regulations, and commitment to best practices. This April 29, 2009 presentation examined the Inspection process from the perspective of experienced transit professionals, as well as from the lead CHP officer overseeing the program.
