Legislative Update Webinar Series Debuts in 2017
Beginning in 2017, the California Transit Association will produce a series of monthly webinars designed to provide members with the latest updates on developments in the legislative and regulatory arena, and priorities being addressed by the Association’s advocacy team and State Legislative Committee.
The first webinar in the series, presented January 11, provided an analysis of Gov. Jerry Brown’s 2017-18 State Budget proposal (released the previous day), with an emphasis on what it means for public transit. To view a recording of that program or download the presentation file, visit the Legislative Webinar Series archive.

- Building Understanding of Transit through Policies and Standards
How can transit agencies encourage clearer conversations among decision-makers about the real choices communities face? How do we balance the social service and ridership goals of transit? How do we make sure that the standards we measure reflect what our community really wants?
