PROGRAM

As the state's foremost public transit gathering for agencies of all sizes, the California Transit Association conferences showcase leading experts to help elevate public transit service delivery throughout California.

At the 56th Annual Fall Conference & Expo, public transit professionals will learn and connect. Program offerings will follow the conference theme, Embracing Change: New Era. New Visionand include sessions covering a wide range of topics such as Fiscal, Planning, Policy & Compliance; Maintenance; Management & Leadership; Marketing & Communications; Operations; and more.

In addition to 25+ content-rich breakout sessions, we're thrilled to welcome Calvin Gladney, LEED AP, among our special keynote speakers. Gladney is President and CEO of Smart Growth America and is a nationally recognized thought leader on the equitable and sustainable revitalization of communities.

YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY

The California Transit Association is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all Conference participants and Association staff. All participants including, but not limited to, attendees, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and staff, will be required to abide by a series of risk mitigation protocols.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
The Association is requiring all participants to be fully vaccinated* for COVID-19 in order to protect the health and safety of our community. During check-in, all Conference participants must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination by providing their paper COVID-19 vaccination card or digital photo of their card via a mobile device.

*An individual is fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.

Mask Requirement
The Association is requiring all Conference participants to wear masks at all times other than when actively eating or drinking.

Additional Protocols
The Association will implement the additional risk mitigation protocols:

The Association will ensure the Conference is in full compliance with all applicable state and local government public health mandates.

The Association will ensure the Conference indoor activities and sessions will be held in rooms that allow participants to be seated in theater seating with a minimum of three feet apart.

All networking activities will occur in spaces large enough to accommodate social distancing.

The Association will provide ample outdoor space available for eating and drinking.

The Association will provide boxed or plated Conference meals to minimize points of contact with food.
