Small Operators Awards
The Small Operators Awards are presented annually during our Fall Conference & Expo. The Transit Professional of the Year Award honors an outstanding individual who has provided strong leadership and vision. The Transit Agency of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding program or service that demonstrates innovative concepts, effective problem-solving techniques, or promotes a positive image of transit in the community. Two new honors, the Transit Innovation Award and the Distinguished Service Award, were added in 2014.

Information. Innovation. Inspiration.
The 53rd Annual Fall Conference & Expo program will focus on the trends that are transforming public transit, innovations and pilot programs being conducted by transit agencies around the state, sharing best-practices, and exploring what is working and what is not.
As always, our premier annual event features insightful keynotes, in-depth educational tracks, and opportunities to learn from thought leaders as we cover today’s most pressing transit issues and happenings.
Creating an enhanced learning environment, there will be at least one hands-on, interactive activity focused session during each track where attendees can “learn by doing.” Concurrent sessions will be offered through the following five educational tracks:
- Fiscal, Planning, Policy & Compliance
- Management & Leadership
- Marketing & Communications
