Small Operators Awards

The Small Operators Awards are presented annually during our Fall Conference & Expo. The Transit Professional of the Year Award honors an outstanding individual who has provided strong leadership and vision.  The Transit Agency of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding program or service that demonstrates innovative concepts, effective problem-solving techniques, or promotes a positive image of transit in the community.  Two new honors, the Transit Innovation Award and the Distinguished Service Award, were added in 2014.

Participants who wish to cancel their conference registration must contact the California Transit Association in writing via email to In the event of a cancellation, the following refund policy applies:

  • Cancellations received by October 19 will receive a full refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 19.
  • Registered for the conference but can't make it? Ask about how to transfer your registration to another member of your organization.
