Been in service for 35 years. Ridership been steady at about 4 million per years since 2000 - with a temporary dip during the recent recession.
- Bob Schroder - Founding Board member. Was instrumental in out creation as a Contra Costa county supervisor, and MTC Commissioner. Has been known as "Mr. Transportation" in local political circles.
- CTA gave us an award in 1991 for best organization.
